Christmas Lights of Greater Moncton

2020 EDITION!

FOR CURRENT YEAR, FIND IT ON OUR HOMEPAGE www.everythingunscripted.com

With Christmas right around the corner, houses are being decorated inside and out. Some people have a few strands of lights, while others go all out.

With lockdowns, no parade, limited access to activities, etc, we hope to make 2020’s list and map a favourite resource for families in Greater Moncton.

We have compiled a list of all the bigger or unique (one of a kind) light displays in the Greater Moncton region. The list was compiled on our Facebook page in 2018 & 2019, and we will continue to update and add to it here on the blog.

Adventures with Star Wars and Minecraft – Clayton’s Week at Snapology Camp

There are so many options out there for summer camps and activities. Most require planning months in advance and committing to a week or two of full days. There are sports-based and outdoor-based camps, and there are activity or interest-based camps.

Then There Is Snapology

When I met with Deji, owner of Snapology Moncton, to learn about the STEM camps he was offering this summer, I was excited and very impressed. Not only are the programs play-based, but they teach Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics skills through fun theme based activities.

This post is sponsored by Snapology Moncton. All opinions and experiences are our own. We partner with businesses that complement our brand and endorse experiences we have personally tried.

Garlic Marinated Pork Roast or Chops – Freezer Friendly

Prepping freezer meals is such a time saver and in the summer it is life-changing. In the summer months, we tend to get off schedule more with fewer routines in place, and that is when popping into the grocery store or fast-food restaurant happens. If you take a little time once a month, to prep 15-20 freezer meals, you can not only save time but also money!

Most of the freezer meals we prep for the summer are either slow cooker/instant pot friendly or BBQ friendly. This pork recipe is super easy and can be prepared in the Instant Pot / Slow cooker if a roast, or on the BBQ as well, if chops.

Some other freezer meal favourites of ours are:

Chicken & Bacon Chowder – Keto / Low Carb Freezer Meal

Chicken & Bacon Chowder – Keto / Low Carb Freezer Meal

Prepping meals, especially freezer meals, keeps me on track with eating home-cooked meals and meals that fit our lifestyle. No running to the frozen food at the grocery store to pick up a pizza, or grabbing fast food.

This recipe is a slow cooker recipe, it could be done in the instant pot for 15 min if you forgot to take it out of the freezer, but I prefer it in the slow cooker. Stir is well to combine if doing in an instant pot.

In this video, I prepped this recipe for Chicken & Bacon Chowder, as well as an easy taco bake.

Fajita Kits – Freezer Meal

Having a variety of meals prepped in the freezer is a fabulous way to save time and avoid stress during busy week nights. Heading into the summer, I also enjoy having meals prepped to just pull out and have ready. Less hassle and much cooler to prepare in a slow cooker or Instant Pot.

Chicken Fajitas are a family favourite and so easy to prep ahead. We often have all the extra ingredients on hand to make these up. in addition to the ingredients to make up the freezer meals you will need tortillas, sour cream, salsa, or any other toppings you enjoy.
Here is a video with this recipe as well as a Cheesy Chicken Penne and Twice Baked Enchilada Sweet Potatoes.
