This summer we have a bucket list of activities to do and destinations to visit in New Brunswick with our children. We will be sharing ideas and things to see and do with a 6-year-old and a 16-year-old. We had to get creative on this one, it’s not always easy finding activities for these two!
Our goal for this summer with the kids comes down to finding new places to EXPLORE, new things to LEARN and trying new food to EAT. We will also be re-visiting some of our favourite spots along the way.
This beach was discovered by chance (near Chance Harbour!) on the same day we visited Black Beach in Lorneville, NB. We decided to explore the coastline further.

Pebble Beach is a such a beautiful spot, fun for the kids, wonderful to photograph and at low tide, lots of space to hike and explore. Pebble Beach is part of the Cape Enrage Nature Preserve just north of Cape Enrage, on the Bay of Fundy in Albert County.
Taking time to connect as a family is something I really did not realize we needed, at least not until we did it.

This Travel Tuesday (in the Summer of 2017) we spent the day at Fundy National Park. We were seeking a relaxing adventure and time spent together. We had been spending the Summer with my mom in Quispamsis after she suffered a stroke, so we were looking for a little getaway.
Discover NB Beaches – Herring Cove Beach
Herring Cove Beach is another Fundy National Park beach that we visit yearly. Over the years it has remained a popular beach with access from two trails.
One of my favourite spots in Fundy National Park is Point Wolf Beach.
Just before crossing the Point Wolf covered bridge, be sure to stop at the Red Chairs and enjoy the view.
FUN FACT: There are about 60 covered bridges in New Brunswick. This one was built in 1992 and is 29m long.
