Bread Machine Sandwich Bread Recipe

This Bread Machine Sandwich Bread is a weekly recipe I make in our home.
* I mix the ingredients in a bread machine on the dough cycle, then shape, let the dough rise in a loaf pan and then bake the dough in my oven.

Most weeks, I need to be a little less hands-on when restocking our bread. That’s when I haul out my bread machine and use this recipe to make my dough hands-free!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup or Honey (1 Tbsp of sugar works as well)
  • 3 cups Flour (I use bread flour)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  1. To make this delicious Bread Machine Sandwich Bread, add all ingredients to your bread machine and select the dough setting.
  2. Once the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough from the machine, shape it into a loaf, place it in an oiled or parchment-lined loaf pan, and allow it to rise again. (About 1 hour)
  3. Bake at 375°F for approximately 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
  4. When removed from the bread pan onto a cooling rack, I brush the crust with butter to make it softer. Let cool and enjoy!
