With the cold winters and hot summers we experience in Moncton, New Brunswick, it is nice to know what businesses allow you to bring your pet inside the store. Here is a list of Dog Friendly Businesses in Greater Moncton *Updated July 2022*, originally compiled by myself and some friends in March of 2019.
REMINDER:
Only take well-behaved, quiet, and calm dogs into stores. All dogs need to be on a leash, kept away from other patrons, unless they request to pet your dog (that is up to you) and be sure to let your dog go pee BEFORE entering the store, so mistakes do not happen. Be prepared to clean up after them if they have an accident. Pay close attention to your pet and other patrons when you are in the store. You do not want to add stress to others or your pet by having them in a situation they do not wish to be in. There are carts, kids and possible machinery in some locations. Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
PLEASE contact and confirm with the stores ahead of going, or ask before you bring your pet inside, just to be sure their policy remains the same. Coastal Inn in Dieppe also allows dogs in hotel or while staying. You just can’t leave them alone in a room because of barking.
Eagle Pool Services in Riverview welcomes dogs!
