Greek Turkey Burgers
This recipe is something I whipped up tonight and it turned out pretty great. I have never made a turkey burger before and wanted some different flavours.
Looking in the fridge, there were Olives, Feta and Sundried Tomato Pesto.
The three ingredients above were my inspiration for tonight’s yummy burger.
Greek Turkey Burgers
1 lb Ground Turkey
3/4 cup Rolled Oats
1 Egg
1/3 cup chopped Feta Cheese
12 Olives diced small (black or green )
2 Tbsp Sundried Tomato Pesto
2 Tbsp Greek Seasoning (Sunset Gourmet)
Mix all ingredients well and form into 6 patties.
Cook in frying pan approx 6-8 min on each side on Med/Low heat. I prefer to cook burgers slower and not burn. I used a covered frying pan for these and they turned out great. Always make sure and ground meat recipe is cooked through before eating.
Serve with mayo, tomato slices, and spinach.
