TIPS FOR SHOPPING & UNPACKING GROCERIES:

  • Shop for enough food to get you through about 2 weeks.
  • Try to limit the number of different stores your food comes from. (fewer people potentially handling food)
  • If you are shopping in stores, commit to purchasing anything you pick up or touch. DO NOT TOUCH unless you plan to buy it.
  • Be considerate of others, follow the rules in place for shopping, pick up and deliveries. Everyone is trying their best to remember social distance and not touch their face, but we are all struggling with this new reality. Try as best you can, and do not judge.
  • Support Local if you can, we need to help them maintain their businesses, farms, and bakeries at this time. They are supporting local families, their own and those of their staff.
  • Do Not open your door for delivery people. They have rules for social distancing. Some will have curbside pick up or delivery, others will drop off at your door. Please wait until they leave to open the door (unless otherwise stated in their procedures).
