Enjoy some Family-Friendly Activities this Fall!

Each fall there are many family fall or harvest festivals throughout New Brunswick. Here are a few you can still take advantage of this season.

September Family-Friendly Fall Festivals in New Brunswick

  • September 15 – Open Farm Day In New Brunswick Atlantic Open Farm Day will occur on September 15, 2024, in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. Check the link to see participating farms.
  • September (No exact date yet)- Saint-Antoine Fall Colours Festival The Saint-Antoine Fall Colors Festival is an annual festive event that has been very successful since the beginning. The organizing committee, composed of citizens of Saint-Antoine and representatives of various community organizations, organize various recreational activities for all age groups.
  • September 18 – 22 – 22nd Annual Sackville Fall Fair – The 22nd Annual Sackville Fall Fair is happening from September 18th until 22nd in Sackville NB! Don’t miss out on the many events, vendors, Hinchey’s Rides, parade, and more.
  • September 20 – 22 – Riverview Harvest Fest  Check out the full schedule of activities, workshops, and business specials for more info.
  • September 21 – Farmer Brown’s Greenhouse Join in with Riverview’s Harvest Festival and enjoy a day on the farm! They will be serving up our Wood Oven Pizza; Gourd Craft; Pumpkin Craft and more…Pizza choices will include Donair, Italian Sausage, Smoked Chicken, Pulled Pork (all at $15) as well as Garlic Fingers and Cheese ($12). Gourd Craft will be $7.50. Pumpkin and Container Craft will vary depending on floral choices. Fun at the farm is free!!
  • September 21 – The Bathurst Annual Harvest Festival will be located at La Promenade Waterfront in Bathurst.
  • September 28 – Petitcodiac Fall Fair

October Family-Friendly Fall Festivals in New Brunswick

  • October 1 – The Neguac Giant Pumpkin Provincial Festival. The current record to beat is 1721 lbs!!
  • October 4 & 5 – Moncton Harvest Days is taking place at the Marché Moncton Market. There will be live entertainment both days, Friday offers a spooky night with friends and the opportunityto enjoy local craft beer from Happy Brewing. Saturday will be a full day of family events.
  • October 5-6 – Edmundston The Grande Grouille d’automne is a colourful festival that normally takes place on the first full weekend of October after the regular season has closed.
  • October 12 -13 – Poley Mountain Fall Festival, this annual event offers chairlift sightseeing, activities, and new experiences in Waterford, NB. On Saturday, October 12th there will be the Poley Peak Pursuit Trail Race (registration required), on Saturday & Sunday there will be a new Market on the Mountain!
  • October 9 – 13 – The Kedgwick Fall Festival – Activities at the festival include concerts, a parade, hunting activities, a lumberjack competition, musical entertainment, and more. The Kedgwick Fall Festival celebrates local heritage, the culture of the region, and the richness of the people who live there.
  • October (No info yet) – Fall Festival of Colours, Crabbe Mountain
  • October 19 – Pokeshaw Cranberry Festival – A two-day festival surrounding the cranberry fields in Pokeshaw. Bilingual tours of the Canwick Cranberry fields on Saturday and Sunday. At the Pokeshaw recreation centre: food and desserts made by local crafters are available on both days, and a music and activities night.
