These freezer log sugar cookies have candy sprinkles mixed right into the dough, no additional decorating required.

2 3/4CupsAll Purpose Flour
1tspBaking Soda
1/2 tspSalt
1Cup Butterroom temp
2CupsSugar
1tspAlmond Extract
1/4CupCandy Sprinkles
Instructions
Combine Flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar in mixer until fluffy. Then add almond extract until mixed in.
Blend in four mixture to form a dough.
Fold in candy sprinkles until distributed throughout the dough.
Form into logs, wrapping tightly in wax paper or plastic wrap. Place in labeled freezer bag and freeze up to 6 months.
To Bake
Remove from freezer and let rest at room temp for about 15 minutes. Then slice and place on parchment covered baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
