Preheat your oven to 400°.
Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Make a well in the flour mixture and add buttermilk.
Stir to combine. I use my hands once it comes together.
Remove from the bowl with floured hands and place on floured surface. Knead 5 or 6 times.
Form into a ball and place in a round cake pan (lightly greased, unless non-stick or silicone). Cutting an X in the dough.
Place a second pan over top of first making a dome around your dough.
Bake for 25 minutes, covered, remove the top pan and bake uncovered for another 10 minutes or until the crust is dark golden brown.
