Here is one in my favorite gifts I received this Christmas. It’s a DIY gift that is super useful, but also unique.
Turkey Soup in a Jar
This beautiful layered jar contains everything you need to make Turkey Soup, you just need to add water and Turkey. Who doesn’t have a ton of left over Turkey after the holidays? And I must saw it tastes amazing!!
Thank you to my friend Nicole C. who gave me this gift and allowed me to share the contents with our readers.
Here’s the recipe:
- 1 Tbsp thyme
- 2 Tbsp savoury
- 6 tsp bouillon (Sequoia- Harvest Sun, vegetable)
- 3/4 cup dehydrated vegetables (found at bulk barn)
- 1 cup long grain white rice.
Instructions
Combine with 6 cups of water and left over turkey, bring to a boil, simmer 20-30 minutes. Season to taste (salt). Done!
Enjoy!
