Prepping Breakfast Options – In The Kitchen: Episode 38

In The Kitchen – I was prepping PB&J Muffins, Omelet Muffins, Omelet Freezer packets and more…

Mornings can be hectic and cause us to grab some convenience foods, or skip eating all together. By prepping a variety of breakfast options ahead, you can have healthy choices available in the fridge or freezer, for the whole family.

Some of our go to breakfast items are muffins, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, omelet muffins, overnight oatmealBreakfast Burritos and omelets.

This is the Facebook Live video from May 6th, 2018, where I was prepping some breakfast options for our family that week. Below the video is a link to some of the recipes as well.

These are the Peanut Butter and Jam Muffins from Mom On Time Out, that I made in this video above.

In addition to these muffins, I often make Banana Muffins, Rhubarb (when in season), Blueberry, Strawberry, PB Maple Gluten Free Muffins and Blender Flourless Chocolate Chip Muffins.

We almost always have some of these Omelet Muffins in the freezer for a quick and healthy breakfast option. Omelet Muffins Recipe can be found here.

  1. What a great idea for a live video! And I will def have to check out these recipes – my youngest LOVES PB&J (as do I), and I’m always excited to try new omelet muffin recipes! 🙂

  2. Over night oats are our go to breakfeast 😀 how do the omelet things with stand freezing?

  3. We make them almost weekly, so eat them up fast, even if frozen, but they are great. You can freeze up to a month, just pop them in the microwave for about 30 seconds. If they are frozen for a few weeks they may get a little rubbery, but the more you add to them, the less rubbery they will taste.

  4. Thanks! We prep breakfasts all the time. Makes mornings so much easier.
