Irish Soda Bread

Have you ever made Irish Soda Bread?

We love Irish soda bread as an addition to our meals, served with stew, soups, and chili, or toasted and enjoyed at breakfast time.

This Irish soda bread can be made up quickly and is a great addition to a hearty meal. Irish Soda Bread was a staple in many families and is a frugal option when needing to stretch the budget.

As with many types of bread, Irish Soda Bread is a traditional recipe from a poor country, using basic ingredients such as flour, baking soda, salt, and soured milk. Many of the best bread recipes around the World were created to feed those with limited access to ingredients.

Irish soda bread may dry out quickly, so keep it wrapped up tight for around 4 days. It also freezes well for up to 2-3 months.
